Our Covid Safety Policy

We look forward to welcoming you to the clean and socially distanced studios - there will be good ventilation and sanitiser available.

Covid-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By attending pilates classes with Willow Pilates, despite all the precautions put in place, you knowingly risk exposure to Covid-19 and release Willow Pilates of all potential risks and liabilities.

Please stick to timings closely to enable one class to exit before another class enters, this also facilitates cleaning between sessions and avoids congestion in the car park

The studio has room to space people sufficiently.

Ventilation will be by open windows and/or doors.  There is heating so that we can continue to ventilate in colder weather. It may be necessary to wear long sleeves/layers etc as the winter progresses if you feel the cold.

Please make sure that you have a handkerchief or step outside if you need to cough or sneeze.

A coat rack and shoe bucket/rack will be provided. It’s best to bring the minimum clothing needed. Please do not put phones on mats or the floor. Please wear socks with non-slip soles to prevent the spread of infection and to avoid slipping.

A wooden, wipeable chair is available in Whitchurch  should you need somewhere to sit when changing in/out of shoes.

The floor will be cleaned regularly and all the required cleaning of door handles etc. will be carried out routinely.

Access to the toilet will be available, although it is in the family part of the house . Please wash your hands with soap after use.

On arrival, please hand sanitise and at any point during the class when you sneeze.

All equipment is provided although it is recommended to bring your own mat to go on top of the mats available. At the start and end of the class, you will be given wipes to clean any equipment you use. There is a pedal bin for any rubbish including wipes. If you prefer, you can bring your own kit to mat classes. Recommended items to bring are: foam roller, head pads/cushion/rolled towel, prickly balls, pinky ball, peachy ball/overball/floppy ball, resistance band, magic circle, mat.

I will not usually be wearing a mask as it’s not mandatory, but I am very happy to wear one if you request it as everyone has different requirements.

Should government rules or advice change, any in-studio class may have to go back online or be cancelled. If your teacher receives the advice to self isolate, classes may go temporarily online or be cancelled, at short notice.

Please do not turn up at the studio if you test positive for Covid-19. Please do not turn up for class if if you have a cough, cold, loss of taste or smell or fever etc. It is preferable for the pilates studio to stay a healthy space, so even if your illness is not Covid-19, please avoid attending if you have anything contagious, even a cold.

If you can’t make it, but are not unwell, we can use blended mat lessons where some people are present in the studio and some online or you may be offered a recorded mat class as it’s not possible to live stream the Reformer Studio Pilates. All mat classes, whether in-studio, blended or live-streamed on zoom, will include a zoom invitation so you can enter the zoom live from home either by choice or by necessity.

Online payments only, will be accepted to remove unnecessary contact. For more details see FAQs.
