Willow Pilates offers small groups and one to one Pilates classes in Whitchurch-On-Thames and Nettlebed in South Oxfordshire. The classes are held in Whitchurch-On-Thames Village Hall and Tall Beeches in Whitchurch-On-Thames and also in private venues by arrangement.
Classes are available for women and men of all ages, levels of experience and for pre natal / post natal, sport specific and injury prevention / rehabilitation.
Willow Pilates is run by Tania Neeson who began teaching Pilates over 15 years ago. Tania trained with Pilates International (now Sampson Pilates) and with Oxford School of Pilates / Alan Herdman Pilates. Alan Herdman is a key player in Pilates in the UK and is responsible for bringing the method here from the States.
Tania's training covers all aspects of Pilates from beginners, intermediate and classical matwork, small equipment including foam rollers, balls and arc barrell, the Pilates machines including Reformer, Trapeze, Wunda Chair and Slope.
Tania has extensive post qualification experience with Balanced body, APPI, Pilates On Tour and Stott Pilates,
the leading international teaching schools.
Tania has an interest in Alexander Technique and holistic health and has studied reflexology. She also takes regular Pilates and yoga classes.
After teaching at Pilates International and Oxford School of Pilates, Tania set up her own Pilates classes locally and then set up and ran Perfect Pilates in Caversham, the first fully equipped Pilates studio in the area.Tania sold Perfect Pilates in 2012 as she now wants to focus on teaching locally again as she now has a young son.
Tanias teaching is tailored to each individual and focuses on good alignment and technique to ensure correct movement patterns. The classes are no larger than 8 clients to ensure you get the attention you need to progress.
The sessions are informal but focused. We aim for health and happiness!
